Day 8: Off to Batu Pahat... a little detour to Segamat

Left Pak Aa's place at about 10:00 am. Thank you again for being such hospitable hosts... Will come again. We went straight to Mak Long's place at Kota Damansara to pick up the stuff for Johor that we left the first day (1 full bag and more).

We left soon after 11:30 to Segamat to see Anya (Aishah's aunt). Anya is a very good cook. Mak can vouch for her cooking - she had some food when she was at Batu Pahat last time. She cooked red fish, some udang and sambal pelam... sedap2. Me stuffing my face. I look pedas.






I fell asleep after having that big lunch. I guess that heat really got to me that day - and driving the windy roads from Tangkak to Segamat.

Left for Batu Pahat at around 5 pm - thank you again Anya for the food. The others were Anya's 2 daughter Mira and Nina. Miraa just got her SPM and looking to go to college, while Nina is still in high school. Last picture is them posing in front of the new Toyota Vios they got (Unser was consuming too much gas).
