Our first car
Today, 9/21/2007, is the day I got my first paycheck from my new job, and also marks the day I bought my first car. I had many cars to date, but this is the first one I actually bought myself under my name.
Its actually our car. I bought this car for Cah, my wife. Now she will have something to drive when I'm at work and I can give my dad back the Ford Focus after putting about 10k miles on it!
The car is a 2007 Newport Blue Pearl Subaru Impreza 2.5i Special Edition. I'll post the pictures tomorrow when we get the car. They were going to give us the car today but we couldn't get the insurance. Granted it was Friday evening! Given the safety features, I think its the best bang for the buck. It will also be Cah's first car.
Along with the safety features, we opted for a bumper-to-bumper warranty for an extra $1000. This warranty not only covers the car bumper-to-bumper, but it also gives me a piece of mind when Cah is driving it. If she happens to get a flat tire, or out of gas somehow, or just broke down within this 5 years, Subaru will take care of everything and it will be free. I think there's $100 deductible but its better than not having any service. This way I also don't have to worry about having AAA on it.
Well that's it for now, and pictures soon to come! We want to have a custom plate for the car so stay tuned for that!

New MacBook Pro, ingenious iSight!
If the iSight is off, you can't see where the light is, but with the iSight on, then you see the green light turning on. Before, you can see the hole where the light is... Another design marvel by Apple. I want one!
