Feyruz, Ready for Solid Foods?

For the last few days, Feyruz has been sucking his tumb more often. Then more saliva dripping and he started biting his toys a lot. So we thought he’s ready for some real food.

Bought these at the store: carrot, sweet potatoes, banana & applesauce.

He definitely loves it! He finished up 2 bowls on the first try, and 3 bowls on the next day

Feyruz Baby Shower Party

The night before, Amin fried some chicken in the garage while I made the sauce for ayam masak merah.

We got to the Club House around 1.30pm. We rented the place together with another family, abang Razi & kak Intan, who will be going back to Msia in a few weeks for good (well maybe…)

The food: Biryani kambing, ayam masak merah, ayam bbq, kambing steak bbq, mee goreng, mac&cheese, fruits & cakes.
Yummy yum!

Plus some cheese tarts & homemade cookies from KB.

Feyruz was so excited that day to see a lot of people looking after him.

How to unlock iPhone 3G

What you will need:

WARNING — YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!  PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE CONSEQUENCES OF UPDATING TO 06.15.

1. There is no way to come back down from 06.15, and there’s no hiding the baseband version from Apple. You’ll be voiding your warranty in a very obvious way.
2. If some future baseband comes out with a critical fix, you won’t be able to update to it if it remains down in the 05.xx sequence (then again, you wouldn’t update to it if you wanted to keep your unlock anyway).
3. Starting with FW 4.2.1 if you have 06.15 on your iPhone you won’t ever be able to restore to stock firmware (it will fail).  You’ll need to only restore to custom IPSWs (then again, if you’re unlocker you should already be doing that).

Certainly don’t update to 06.15 if you don’t need to!  Only do this if you need the unlock and you’re stuck on 05.14 or 05.15, and you’re willing to assume the above risks.

Step 1. Next Launch Redsn0w and Browse to the iOS 4.2.1 or 4.1 and Click Next to proceed. (Windows 7 and Vista users, please run redsn0w as Administrator in “XP Compatiblity Mode”)

Step 2. On The next screen Select ‘ Install Cydia‘ & ‘ Install iPad baseband‘ this will fetch the iPad 3.2.2 baseband 06.15.00 and overwrite it on youriPhone.

Step 3. Next you would be prompted to make sure that your Device is both Turned OFF and connected to computer.

Step 4. Next you would require to Put your iPhone in DFU Mode. Follow Onscreen instructions. Hold down both Power and Home Simultaneously for 10 Secs. And then Release Power Button However keep holding the Home button until the Installation begins.

Step 5. After a while the Jailbreak process will be completed on your iPhone it will reboot and you will have it updated to exploitable baseband 06.15.00. Now simply Install Ultrasn0w from the Cydia and Unlock your iPhone.

Step 6. Insert your T-Mobile, Maxis, DiGi, Celcom, or any other sim-card into the phone and it will magically work.  Congratulations you have successfully unlocked your iPhone 3G.

Feyruz' 3 month birthday

He’s doing very well.  Haven’t gotten ill yet.  Only problem so far is his severe eczema, but we’re trying our best to find a relief for the poor guy.  Enjoy the pictures below!  You can see some eczema marks on his face and body – but all in all he’s happy, eating well and being very ‘kind’ to his mama and daddy.  Hehehehehe.  Yes he is back on mommy’s milk, with occasional formula when that isn’t enough!

He likes to sing like his mama… I don’t know yet if that’s a good thing or not.  We shall see… hehehe.

Healthy SSD!

Almost a year old, got it during Black Friday 2009.  I need to stress this thing more… 2.18 TB (terabyte) of activity and still counting…

Feyruz’ Condition

“Since the last doctor's visit, I've been busy taking care of Feyruz. We still couldn't figure out what he's allergic to, so I've been giving him formula for a week to see if it is from breastmilk. And his doctor has prescribed with different medcines. So far I didn't see any difference.”

“It was difficult while feeding him the formula. The first day was the worst, he cried and cried until he was tired. He didn't want to take the formula, and kept searching for my boobs when I hold him. He finally took the formula, but only a bit and then he dozed off. When he woke up, Feyruz cried even louder.... Amin worked from home on the first day. We had to take turn calming him and trying to feed him. I felt so sad watching Feyruz cried. I even cried with him huhu..”

“Also as of right now, I have already given up eating dairy products, seafood, egg and peanut. So.. no cake, cookies, ice cream, chocolate... and the list goes on and on..”

“Can't wait to see the dermatologist at Children Mercy Hospital this Friday. Feyruz has been very fussy these past few days, he cried a lot more than usual. And his face kinda puffy.”
