Wagon Ride @ Riverfront Park
Bought this Little Tikes Wagon Trailer for Irfan years ago, but Irfan wasn’t really into it. So we saved it, and now Feyruz could ride it to the park yeayyyy 
He’s still too small though. We put a pillow so that he couldn’t move that much.

3 Weeks Ago..
They came here all the way from PA. Ayah Amin drove from noon til morning the next day. Got an hour or so sleep on the highway. It was a tiring trip for sure, but they were all so excited to meet Feyruz. He’s 10 months now. Very playful and very active.
It took Feyruz 2 days to get used to have a bunch of people around the house. He had so much fun while playing with his toys. So much laughing and giggling. Usually he played with me from morning till late afternoon, and I could tell that he got bored later during the day. Now having the kids played with Feyruz, he discovered lotsa new skills:
1. He put things in a cup or container. Like ball in a cup. Pacifier in the slot on his walker/ music table. Mak Amin discovered this.
2. Sometimes when I say ‘pick up the ball’, he’ll pick it up and toss it
3. I give him 2 cups and a ball. He will exchange the ball between 2 cups. Amin taught this.
4. At the beginning he felt a lot when he used the walker. Today, he knows how to control his balance and can push the walker easily. But doesn’t know how to turn it yet. So Amin tied rubber bands at the front of the walker so that we can help him turn while he’s pushing it.
First weekend they were here, we went to the City Market. It was kinda like ‘pasar’ in Msia, but mostly people sold veggies & fruits. A few vendors sold art crafts & food too.
This guy can make animals from a straw balloons.
The week after that, we went to Wichita to visit KB & family. Irfan had so much fun playing with Muhsin. I couldn’t remember the last time he was that excited. Been screaming and laughing all night, playing slide and cooking and balls with Muhsin. Told Janet she should adopt another 9 years old kid to keep Irfan happy! 
On Father’s Day, we went to the park for a picnic. It was a hot day, but a great gathering & great food.
Amin’s family is going home this Friday. We were talking about celebrating, but I’m still thinking what to do. Any ideas?

Memorial Day Weekend 5.29.11
I’m already way behind on blogging 
Just wanted to recount what’s happening since last month.
We visited KB & family during Memorial Day weekend. We were supposed to have a picnic with the other Wichitarians, but they went to the park very early in the morning. By the time we got there, they already left huhu..
So we just had our own picnic near the lake. It was so very windy and HOT. When Feyruz got out of the car, his face was red & blushing. Kesian.. he’s not used to the hot weather at all. Me & Amin had to take turn to entertain him somehow huhu..
Look at the cloudy water from the lake. We think it was because of those severe thunderstorms that came thru here.

Another Day at The Swimming Pool
Muka abah & Feyruz yang baru bangun tido. Feyruz kejutkan abah mintak bawa ke swimming pool.
Abah rajin swimming 4 laps (gaya tipu hehehe)
April’s Trip to Wichita
Now Feyruz has started crawling, I thought that it would be a great trip to see abg Irfan, hoping both
of them could play together, somehow 
Feyruz was indeed excited when we got to Mak Long’s house. Mostly because.. THERE WERE LOTS & LOTS OF TOYS!! It was so cute to see abg Irfan handed some toys here and there to Feyruz 
Another friend came, abg Muhriz.
He couldn’t stop playing the school bus and its wheels. Must buy!

The next day, we had lunch at Il Vicino before heading back to KC. Great trip!
