3rd Wedding Anniversary

Today is our Wedding Anniversary! 3 years and infinite more to go, InsyaAllah! For those of you wondering, we are still 2+0. Plans? It's Wednesday - so other than work, I'm not really sure where we're going tonight, but we're definitely going out to eat somewhere. Yay!

A night at "The K" (Kaufmann Stadium)

First baseball game! Go Royals! It was the 3rd series game of Kansas City Royals vs. Seattle Mariners. It was... interesting. Coming from a football background (went to countless PSU games and one NFL game), I thought it was very different and hard to follow. There wasn't any announcers. So if you don't pay attention, you really don't know what's going on. At least in football, you can always rely on the announcers to tell you what's going on in the game. I had fun. It was an event sponsored by my boss's boss - to his team that did a good job.

New Fender, etc

Here are some pictures of when we got the new car fender. Huge box!

I changed the air filter; you can see which one is new. Car felt better (obviously, look at it - the car can hardly breathe with the old one).

We went to Lee's Summit Honda dealer for these new ignition wires (today). I haven't installed it yet... The one in there looks like its been in there for a while (200k miles). Hopefully it runs better - and the circular ones there are the Honda Genuine oil filters. Gotta treat this car nice - its old!

Fishing in KC

We actually went fishing a few times, using borrowed rods from Abg Ramli (Dzakiyy's dad). We caught the usual bluegills. Then 3 croakers that we released because, silly me, we thought it was an undersized bass.

While fishing, we saw many carps jumping out of the water having fun - so I thought, let's spoil their fun and eat one of them. On another fine day, we went fishing in the morning with Wal-Mart's Great Value Corn in a can on a treble hook. Lo and behold, I got one! 19" but hey, carp is a carp! Not bad for first time trying for it in foreign untested waters. First carp caught by a Lubis in Missouri! Enjoy the pictures!

At home we had to clean the fish and freeze it right away. Totally not looking forward to this, my first carp cleaning. After two minor cuts on my hands and an hour later, we got it cleaned. Thanks Ayah for awesome tips on how to take out the scales...

Definitely will do it again. We fried one to try it out, then we cooked the rest in fish curry. Brought them over to Abg. Ramli's house for lunch after watch the new Harry Potter movie (Half-Blood prince is Prof. Snape!), Dzakiyy and family loved it.

Evicting in Hamachi Command Line

We invited Muqsitt to our exclusive DotA nightly parties. Unfortunately, he was 'too good' for the occasion and pretty much lost his short-lived privilege. His IP needed to be evicted from the Hamachi LAN. Wasil apparently is the current owner of the Network (thanks Jon) and we had issues with HamachiX and how it wouldn't evict even when the 'evict button' was clicked.

Off we go to terminal, or the command-line! It's pretty simple really - the command for evicting is:

$ hamachi evict lubispa x.x.x.x

Game on!
