KC!
Got in Kansas City at about 10:56 pm. Tired... woo... we had an overall great time. Weather was the only issue, as we saw the sun for about 4 hours in total. Yes, we left KC in rain, and came back in rain. Go figure...

Fu Lin house again!
This time we ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. It tasted similar - maybe we should have tried something more daring! It was pretty busy, more than usual - so maybe that's why it kind of felt a little plain, more salt? Anyways we managed to finish about half, leaving some for our lunch/dinner tomorrow perhaps... Now if I can keep my eyes open for the trip back to Kansas City (from St. Louis)...
...more pics to come later.

KFC and A&W Halal (Zabihah) in Lombard, IL
This location is in Lombard, IL - SW of Chicago in their suburb... We also ordered 24 pieces to bring back to KC for us and Kak Cah's sister... Going in the freezer...really! :P The A&W burger has turkey 'bacon' and we give KFC grilled chicken a shot to taste... It wasn't that impressive - Mak's barbeque is definitely better. But at least I can say I had it!

See ya Ann Arbor...
Fall looks gorgeous here, very similar to Pennsylvania and not bleak like Kansas City. See ya, and nope it wasn't an Arbor Day... :)

More pics at the Big House...
Pics of the end of the game. Penn State totally dominated Michigan.
Wonder what it'll do to our ranking today... On the other note,
Michigan fans are pretty friendly, thanks all. 3 Big Ten stadiums
down... Penn State, Iowa, Michigan... Whats next?

More pics at Michigan Stadium...
Penn State won 35-10. Everyone played exceptionally. Michigan had an early lead, but that pretty much sums up the game. Attendance was: 110,377! Great game, great day, and good night.
Ps. The second picture has 2 jets flying overhead after singing the national anthem.

Entering the Big House - Michigan Stadium...
Entering the Big House! It can hold over 110,000 people. Easily the biggest stadium in the US. Penn State's Beaver Stadium is the 2nd biggest... We're on Row 94 - almost towards the end... But the view looks quite alright.

Reached Chicago at about 8:00pm. It was still raining pretty bad... With trucks spraying water everywhere it was really tough to drive past sunset. Before we check in Hyatt, we stopped by a Halal KFC 10 minutes away...hehehe... Sedap! Wish you all are with us to finish up the chikin'... Oh and guess what, I get to listen to my fav. Radio station live! I've been streaming it in the past... 100.3 FM Chicago WILV Feel Good Favorites... WILV.com and listen live if you want to taste it!

Afternoon at St. Louis...
We reached St. Louis at 1:45 and decided to pray jamak Zohor and Asar at Daar-Ul-Islam Mosque. We had lunch at Fu Lin House, the first Halal Chinese joint we came across in the US. Kak Cah ordered Orange Chicken with white rice and I ordered Sezchuan Chicken (sp). Since it was before 3pm the cost was cheaper, $11.30 for both... It was good! We got Special Lo Mein to-go... (Mee goreng)... Its probably one of the best we've had, een when compared to what Malaysia has to offer. We KC Malaysians call it... Mee Goreng Hangit... It was cooked with some intense fire!! Ready in literally 5 minutes! Oh I am posting this on the road, Kak Cah is driving on I-55. It hasn't stopped raining since KC. Its ok, unload it all and please leave us with a dry Saturday...
